Adidas AG unveiled the new adipure Trainer, the first barefoot training shoe designed specifically for the gym. The adipure Trainer activates and strengthens muscles, builds balance and promotes dexterity. Featuring an independent toe separation design and a quarter-inch minimalistic profile, the adipure Trainer allows their foot to be close to the ground for optimal speed, balance and agility during a workout. adidas plans to launch its new Strength & Conditioning program featuring the adipure Trainer and a complete line of training footwear and apparel. As part of the program, adidas has signed on Mike Cammalleri to promote the line in an integrated marketing campaign that begins January 30th and runs through the month of February. Cammalleri will be featured in a:30 second TV/digital spot as well as at Sport Chek stores across Canada. The adipure Trainer and the complete Strength & Conditioning line are available exclusively at Sport Chek as of Feb. 1 for $100. It comes in two colourways for men, Black/Metallic Silver/Black and Solid Grey/Black/Electricity.
