Crescent Star Insurance Limited (KASE:CSIL) signed letter of intent to acquire 24.97% stake in Dost Steels Limited (KASE:DSL) for approximately PKR 600 million on October 19, 2021. As per terms of transaction, Crescent Star Insurance Limited will acquire 78.858534 million shares. The acquisition is subject to all necessary corporate, regulatory and legal approvals that may be needed in the process.
As of August 19, 2022, The transaction is subject to decision of the Lahore High Court.
