Tokan Co.,Ltd. entered into an agreement to acquire Kokubu Chubu K.K. in July, 2018. The transaction is approved by shareholders of Tokan Co.,Ltd. and Kokubu Chubu K.K. Share transfer ratio of Tokan Co.,Ltd. and Kokubu Chubu K.K. is 1 and 1.52 respectively. Upon completion of the transaction, Tokan Co.,Ltd. will be renamed as Central Forest Group Co., Ltd. The transaction is expected to be closed on April 1, 2019. Taiyo limited liability audit corporation acted as accountant in the transaction. Frontier Management Inc. acted as financial advisor in the transaction.
Central Forest Group, Inc is mainly engaged in the management of companies that conduct wholesale business for products such as food and liquor, and all the related business. The Company mainly engages in the wholesale business of food products and other products, and also processes and sells laver and shiitake mushrooms, as well as engages the food and liquor wholesale business, product procurement and proposals that meet the needs for wholesale of food and liquor, transportation and product distribution through its wholly-owned subsidiaries.
