Wanshih Electronic Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2023. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 275.49 million compared to TWD 395.03 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 5.07 million compared to TWD 23.34 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.07 compared to TWD 0.32 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.07 compared to TWD 0.3 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was TWD 869.04 million compared to TWD 1,052.81 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 14.78 million compared to TWD 49.74 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.2 compared to TWD 0.69 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.2 compared to TWD 0.69 a year ago.
WanShih Electronic Co., Ltd. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the development, manufacture and sales of cables for information and communication devices. The Companyâs primary products include the internal and external coaxial cable assemblies and antennas of information and communication products. Its products are mainly used in the notebook computers, liquid crystal display (LCD) televisions, mobile phones, personal digital assistants (PDAs), desktop computers, industrial computers, digital versatile disc (DVD) players, digital video recorders and wireless communications equipment. The Company operates through two business segments. The Taiwan Market segment is mainly engaged in the research, development and sales businesses. The Mainland China segment is mainly engaged in the manufacture and sales businesses. The Companyâs products are mainly exported to Asia, the Americas and Europe.
