Wanshih Electronic Co. Ltd. announced earnings results for the full year ended December 31, 2018. For the full year, the company announced sales was TWD 1,639.519 million compared to TWD 1,653.249 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 3.839 million compared to operating Income of TWD 54.767 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 22.809 million compared to net income of TWD 64.603 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.24 compared to basic earnings per share of TWD 0.69 a year ago. Diluted loss per share was TWD 0.24 compared to diluted earnings per share of TWD 0.68 a year ago.
WanShih Electronic Co., Ltd. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the development, manufacture and sales of cables for information and communication devices. The Companyâs primary products include the internal and external coaxial cable assemblies and antennas of information and communication products. Its products are mainly used in the notebook computers, liquid crystal display (LCD) televisions, mobile phones, personal digital assistants (PDAs), desktop computers, industrial computers, digital versatile disc (DVD) players, digital video recorders and wireless communications equipment. The Company operates through two business segments. The Taiwan Market segment is mainly engaged in the research, development and sales businesses. The Mainland China segment is mainly engaged in the manufacture and sales businesses. The Companyâs products are mainly exported to Asia, the Americas and Europe.
