Wanshih Electronic Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2020. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 292.173 million compared to TWD 308.208 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 18.306 million compared to TWD 31.403 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 11.400 million compared to TWD 17.631 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.12 compared to TWD 0.19 a year ago.
WanShih Electronic Co., Ltd. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the development, manufacture and sales of cables for information and communication devices. The Companyâs primary products include the internal and external coaxial cable assemblies and antennas of information and communication products. Its products are mainly used in the notebook computers, liquid crystal display (LCD) televisions, mobile phones, personal digital assistants (PDAs), desktop computers, industrial computers, digital versatile disc (DVD) players, digital video recorders and wireless communications equipment. The Company operates through two business segments. The Taiwan Market segment is mainly engaged in the research, development and sales businesses. The Mainland China segment is mainly engaged in the manufacture and sales businesses. The Companyâs products are mainly exported to Asia, the Americas and Europe.
