FRANKFURT (dpa-AFX) - Internet service provider United Internet will move up to the mid-cap index MDax in mid-September. The share of mechanical engineering company Krones has to make way for this, as Deutsche Borse in Eschborn announced following the index review on Tuesday evening after close of trading. United Internet's place in the small-cap segment SDax will be taken by newcomer Thyssenkrupp Nucera. Ionos will also join the SDax in the future. The supplier of image processing components Basler has to make room for it. The changes come into effect on Monday, September 18.

In the German benchmark index Dax, however, everything will remain the same.

Such changes are particularly important for funds that replicate indices in real terms (physically replicating ETFs). There, rebalancing must then take place accordingly, which can have an impact on share prices./ck/nas
