Trakm8 launches Road Safety Hero search

Trakm8 has launched a competition to find Britain's ultimate Road Safety Hero to mark this year's Brake Road Safety Week (14th - 20th November 2022).

To reward drivers who are going above and beyond to keep Britain's roads safe, fleet managers nationwide are invited to nominate a member of their team before Friday, 11^th November. Trakm8 is looking to shine a spotlight on fleet professionals who have made a real difference to safety on the road and whom exemplify the values and core principles of Road Safety Week and Brake.

Trakm8 will announce the top five entries at the beginning of Road Safety Week via its social media platforms. The winner will then be announced at the end of the week, receiving a £250 Amazon voucher as a prize.

Nick Guise, Group Marketing Manager, said: "The theme of Road Safety Week this year is Safe Roads for All. We are looking for a driver who has really gone the extra mile to embody that, and is proactively working to keep roads safe.

"Trakm8 is a long-time supporter of Brake and we are thrilled to be holding the Road Safety Hero search once again. It's a fantastic opportunity to highlight some of Britain's best fleet drivers alongside promoting safety on the roads of Britain."

The winner of last year's inaugural prize was Gary Nicol, a delivery driver for LKQ Euro Car Parts. Gary demonstrated extreme bravery in the line of duty when he saved occupants of a crashed car that was submerged in water.
