GÜTERSLOH (dpa-AFX) - The grandson of former Bertelsmann CEO Reinhard Mohn, Thomas Coesfeld, will become chief executive officer (CEO) at music company BMG. "He will succeed Hartwig Masuch effective January 1, 2024," parent company Bertelsmann announced Monday in Gütersloh. "The change in leadership is part of a long-term succession plan. Hartwig Masuch will remain associated with Bertelsmann as a consultant." Coesfeld has already been chief financial officer (CFO) at BMG, a music rights company, since 2021.
