NexPoint Real Estate Finance, Inc. announced that its board of directors has declared a special dividend of $0.185 per share of NREF common stock. The Company has undistributed income from 2022 that totals approximately $0.74 per common share and intends to distribute it ratably over 2023, subject to board approval. The special dividends will be payable on March 31, 2023, to stockholders of record on March 15, 2023.
NexPoint Real Estate Finance, Inc. is a commercial mortgage real estate investment trust (REIT). The Company is focused on originating, structuring and investing in first-lien mortgage loans, mezzanine loans, preferred equity, convertible notes, multifamily properties and common stock investments, as well as multifamily commercial mortgage-backed securities securitizations, multifamily structured credit risk notes and mortgage-backed securities, or its target assets. The Company's primary investment objective is to generate attractive, risk-adjusted returns for stockholders over the long term.
