IBM announced Tuesday that it has co-opted Marianne C. Brown to its Board of Directors, highlighting the executive's financial expertise and know-how in digital transformation.
Aged 65, Marianne Brown was previously Chief Operating Officer of the financial services group Fidelity National Information Services (FIS).
In addition to her skills in finance, she also has a wealth of knowledge in the fields of technology services, cybersecurity and corporate data, as she also sits on the boards of Akamai Technologies (cloud), Charles Schwab (online brokerage) and Northrop Grumman (defense), says IBM.
She previously served on the board of VMware, a server management software company.
