Gaia Corporation Co., Ltd agreed to acquire Mirae Asset Daewoo Special Purpose Acquisition Company 5 Co., Ltd from Union Investment Partners Co., Ltd. and others for KRW26 billion in reverse merger transaction.

Gaia Corporation Co., Ltd agreed to acquire Mirae Asset Daewoo Special Purpose Acquisition Company 5 Co., Ltd (KOSDAQ:A353490) from Union Investment Partners Co., Ltd. and others for KRW26 billion in reverse merger transaction on November 9, 2022. When the merger is completed, Mirae Asset Daewoo acquisition objective No. 5 (Co.) will become a surviving corporation and Gaia Corporation will become a disbanded corporation.

As of February 28, 2023, the transaction is expected to close on July 12, 2023.
