Epileds Technologies, Inc. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2020. For the second quarter, the company announced total revenue was TWD 308.046 million compared to TWD 299.963 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 6.601 million compared to operating loss of TWD 17.082 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 5.452 million compared to net loss of TWD 16.193 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.05 compared to basic loss per share of TWD 0.16 a year ago. For the half year, total revenue was TWD 559.192 million compared to TWD 597.002 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 17.514 million compared to TWD 60.421 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 17.707 million compared to TWD 50.996 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.18 compared to TWD 0.51 a year ago.
Epileds Technologies, Inc. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the research, development, manufacture and distribution of light emitting diode (LED) chips and wafers. The Companyâs products include ultra-high brightness LED blue light wafers and chips, green light wafers and chips, red light chips and wafers, LED indoor and outdoor lighting fixtures, among others. Its products are applied in the manufacture of consumer electronics, signals and displays, automobile spare parts, industrial instruments, lightening products and other specialty-purpose products, such as mobile consumer electronics, notebook computers, liquid crystal display (LCD) televisions, advertisement displays, traffic lights, fog lamps, automobile back lamps, program controllers, medical equipment, road lamps, city landscape lightening products and others.
