Epileds Technologies, Inc. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2020. For the third quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 357.306 million compared to TWD 284.630 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 2.898 million compared to operating loss of TWD 16.111 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 3.913 million compared to net loss of TWD 22.409 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.04 compared to basic loss per share of TWD 0.22 a year ago. For the nine months, sales was TWD 916.498 million compared to TWD 881.632 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 14.616 million compared to TWD 76.532 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 13.794 million compared to TWD 73.405 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.14 compared to TWD 0.73 a year ago.
Epileds Technologies, Inc. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the research, development, manufacture and distribution of light emitting diode (LED) chips and wafers. The Companyâs products include ultra-high brightness LED blue light wafers and chips, green light wafers and chips, red light chips and wafers, LED indoor and outdoor lighting fixtures, among others. Its products are applied in the manufacture of consumer electronics, signals and displays, automobile spare parts, industrial instruments, lightening products and other specialty-purpose products, such as mobile consumer electronics, notebook computers, liquid crystal display (LCD) televisions, advertisement displays, traffic lights, fog lamps, automobile back lamps, program controllers, medical equipment, road lamps, city landscape lightening products and others.
