Austevoll Seafood ASA announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was NOK 6,262.791 million compared to NOK 5,306.056 million a year ago. Operating income was NOK 1,520.158 million compared to NOK 753.124 million a year ago. Net income was NOK 606.029 million compared to NOK 362.176 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was NOK 3 compared to NOK 1.79 a year ago. For the half year, sales was NOK 12,215.606 million compared to NOK 11,162.510 million a year ago. Operating income was NOK 2,626.448 million compared to NOK 973.008 million a year ago. Net income was NOK 1,071.559 million compared to NOK 325.564 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was NOK 5.31 compared to NOK 1.61 a year ago.

The Company is involved in pelagic operations within fisheries, production of fishmeal and fish oil, and frozen pelagic consumer products. The Company has sales operations in Norway, Europe, Asia, the USA and South America. Birkeland Farming AS, that holds seven salmon farming licences in the Western Region of Norway and the joint venture Pelagia Holding AS, that is engaged in production of fishmeal, fish oil, Omega-3 oil and frozen fish for direct human consumption.
