Austevoll Seafood ASA reported earnings results for the fourth quarter and full year ended December 31, 2022. For the fourth quarter, the company reported sales was NOK 7,638.7 million compared to NOK 7,028.02 million a year ago. Net income was NOK 262.01 million compared to NOK 534.16 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was NOK 1.3 compared to NOK 2.65 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was NOK 1.3 compared to NOK 2.65 a year ago.
For the full year, sales was NOK 31,149.62 million compared to NOK 26,633.44 million a year ago. Net income was NOK 2,453.77 million compared to NOK 1,981.19 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was NOK 12.16 compared to NOK 9.82 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was NOK 12.16 compared to NOK 9.82 a year ago.

The Company is involved in pelagic operations within fisheries, production of fishmeal and fish oil, and frozen pelagic consumer products. The Company has sales operations in Norway, Europe, Asia, the USA and South America. Birkeland AS, that holds pelagic fishing licences utilised by two purse-seiner fishing vessels; Br. Birkeland Farming AS, that holds seven salmon farming licences in the Western Region of Norway and the joint venture Pelagia Holding AS, that is engaged in production of fishmeal, fish oil, Omega-3 oil and frozen fish for direct human consumption.
