MUNICH (dpa-AFX) - Software provider Atoss Software is becoming more confident about subsequent years following better-than-expected figures for 2022. After an initial review of the results for the past year, the company's own targets for all key financial indicators were exceeded, the SDax group announced in Munich on Monday. As a result, Atoss Software significantly raised its revenue forecast for the years 2023 to 2025. This went down well with the shareholders. The share price rose by a good five percent.

The Munich-based company further announced that revenues in 2022 had risen to between 113 and 114 million euros. Most recently, Atoss Software had targeted annual sales of 110 million euros, after 97.1 million euros in the previous year. Analysts had an average of 112 million on the screen. The main contributor to the sales development was the cloud solutions segment, with an increase in sales of more than 70 percent.

Of the revenue, 26 to 27 percent remained as operating earnings before interest and taxes. The Ebit margin thus exceeded the 25 percent recently targeted. Software orders received last year climbed by more than 35 percent year-on-year to over 52 million euros.

Due to the good business development and good order situation, the company raised its previous forecasts for the years 2023 to 2025. For 2023, total sales of 135 million euros are now expected instead of the previous 125 million euros, as well as an Ebit margin of 27 percent in any case, it said. For 2024, the group expects sales of 160 million euros and for 2025 sales of 190 million euros. Previously, the software provider had 145 million and 170 million euros on the cards here, respectively. The margin is expected to increase to 30 percent by 2025 in any case.

The company plans to publish further information on January 31, 2023, when it presents its full-year results for 2022./mne/mis
