ALK announced that it has revised its 2015 financial guidance upwards following a strong increase in sales in Europe during fourth quarter. Full-year revenue in the base business is now expected to grow by approximately 5% in local currencies against 3% previously, when excluding a one-off milestone payment received last year. Full-year revenue is consequently now estimated at approximately DKK 2.57 billion against around DKK 2.5 billion previously. Full-year EBITDA before special items is now expected to be approximately DKK 450 million against approximately DKK 400 million previously. The updated guidance reflects recent market developments in France where authorities have ordered ALK's main competitor to temporarily suspend production and to recall certain products.

For the fourth quarter, growth is estimated at 9%, including a more than 40% increase in sales of GRAZAX(r).
