Xylem Inc. specializes in the design, manufacturing and marketing of engineered equipment for water and wastewater industries. Net sales break down by activity as follows: - sale of transportation and water treatment systems (29.8%): ADI, Flygt, Godwin, Ionpure, Leopold, Magneto, Neptune Benson, Sanitaire, Wallace & Tiernan, Wedeco and Xylem Vue brands; - sale of integrated solutions and services (27.4%); - sale of measurement and control systems and analytical instruments (21.9%): dedicated to the conservation of water resources and water testing; - sale of hydraulic equipment (20.8%): booster devices, pumps, valves, heat exchangers, distribution and control equipment, etc. sold under the A-C Fire Pump, Bell & Gossett, Flojet, Goulds Water Technology, Jabsco, Lowara, Standard Xchange and Xylem Vue brands for the agricultural, industrial, commercial and residential sectors. Net sales are distributed geographically as follows: the United States (56.8%), Western Europe (20.4%), Eastern Europe/Middle East/Africa/Latin America/Asia/Pacific (14.9%) and other (7.9%).
