WISCOM Advanced Materials Co., Ltd., announced that it expects to receive KRW 1.1628 billion in funding from Wiscom Co.,Ltd.

WISCOM Advanced Materials (Jiangmen) Co., Ltd. announced that it will receive KRW 1,162,800,000 in equity round of funding on September 1, 2021. The transaction will include participation from existing investor Wiscom Co.,Ltd. which will retain 100% stake in the company. The transaction has been approved by the board of directors of the company. The transaction is expected to close on October 15, 2021. The capital of the company will be changed from KRW 8,139,600,000 to KRW 9,302,400,000.
WISCOM CO.,LTD. is a Korea-based company engaged in the manufacturing and distribution of plastic compounds. The Company principally produces polyvinyl chloride (PVC) compounds, polyethylene (PE) compounds and other high functional resin compounds used in electrical cables, semiconductors, automobile interior decorations and ships. The Company is also involved in the original equipment manufacturing (OEM) of acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) compounds, polystyrene (PS) compounds, as well as polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) compounds, which are provided to LG CHEM LTD. The Company distributes its products within domestic market and to overseas markets.
