Western Gold Exploration Ltd. is a Canada-based mineral exploration company. The Company is focused on the exploration of mineral properties in Western Scotland. The Company is engaged in discovering new opportunities across underexplored Caledonian Appalachian and identifying locations of gold and critical metal deposits. The Company's principal focus is its Lorne Project, which includes the Lagalochan copper gold porphyry property located in Argyll, Scotland (the Lagalochan Property), and the adjacent and nearby properties along the Lorne Fault Zone. Lagalochan Property is a Silurian aged high potassium calc-alkaline type porphyry. The Lagalochan Property lies approximately three-kilometer (km) east of the village of Kilmelford in Argyll (Argyllshire), Scotland, United Kingdom.
