Ways Technical Corp., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2020. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 207.212 million compared to TWD 206.587 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 89.160 million compared to TWD 85.416 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 29.680 million compared to TWD 127.169 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.31 compared to TWD 1.3 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 429.798 million compared to TWD 421.488 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 172.482 million compared to TWD 167.186 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 130.789 million compared to TWD 162.337 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 1.34 compared to TWD 1.67 a year ago.
WAYS TECHNICAL CORP., LTD. is principally engaged in the processing and assembly of Computer, Communication and Consumer Electronics (3C) products. The Company is also engaged in the manufacture and sale of coating and the sales of goods and components. The Companyâs surface treatment services are mainly applied to mobile phones, smart phones, personal digital assistants (PDAs), PDA phones and global positioning systems (GPSs), among others. It provides different methods of surface treatment, including electroplating, sputtering, coating and printing. The Company operates its business mainly in Taiwan and Mainland China.
