Visual Photonics Epitaxy Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 594.32 million compared to TWD 736.28 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 106.16 million compared to TWD 184.44 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.57 compared to TWD 1 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.57 compared to TWD 0.99 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was TWD 988.74 million compared to TWD 1,575.47 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 117.91 million compared to TWD 401.92 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.64 compared to TWD 2.17 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.64 compared to TWD 2.16 a year ago.
Visual Photonics Epitaxy Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the research, development, manufacture and distribution of photoelectric semiconductor epitaxial chips and components. The Companyâs primary products include heterojunction bipolar transistor (HBT) wafers, pseudomorphic high electron mobility transistor (PHEMT) wafers, indium phosphide (InP) HBT wafers, wafer bonding light emitting diodes (LEDs), gallium arsenide (GaAs) personal identification number (PIN) and indium GaAs (InGaAs) PIN, among others.
