Vicinity Centres (ASX:VCX), on behalf of its managed wholesale fund Vicinity Enhanced Retail Fund (VERF), announces the sale of Gateway Plaza Leopold in Victoria, to a joint venture co-owned by Charter Hall Retail REIT and Charter Hall Prime Retail Fund for $117.0 million¹, reflecting a 0.3% premium to book value.

The sale is in line with VERF's investment strategy and reflects the strong demand for Sub Regional shopping centres.

The transaction is expected to settle by the end of September 2018.
