FRANKFURT (dpa-AFX) - Internet service provider United Internet will be included in the MDax index of mid-cap stocks from this Monday. In exchange, the share of mechanical engineering company Krones is eliminated. It will also not be in the SDax, where United Internet's place will be taken by the newcomer to the stock market and hydrogen specialist Thyssenkrupp Nucera.

The index of smaller stocks below the MDax will also be enriched by the internet service provider Ionos. It is a subsidiary of United Internet. The supplier of image processing components Basler will have to give up its place.

In Germany's leading index, the Dax, everything remains the same.

Such changes are particularly important for funds that replicate indices in real terms (physically replicating ETFs). There, the shares have to be shifted accordingly, which can have an impact on the share prices./ck/jha/
