RobecoSAM, an asset manager focused on sustainability investing, and the audit firm KPMG have included TUI AG in the Sustainability Yearbook for the sixth time in succession. TUI has been highlighted as a Gold Class award winner in the 2013 Yearbook. In the Travel & Tourism sector, the tourism group has been awarded the title of Sector Leader. In addition, TUI AG is among the 15 per cent of companies operating in its sector that achieved the most significant year-on-year improvement in their corporate sustainability performance last year (Sector Movers). The 2013 Sustainability Yearbook will be presented today at the World Economic Forum in Davos.

Only about 15 per cent of the more than 2,000 global players participating in the assessment are included in the Yearbook. The target group of the publication are institutional investors. The Yearbook presents an overview of the relevant sustainability opportunities and risks of different sectors. The Yearbook also provides investors with an insight into sector-specific developments in sustainability.

Background: The TUI Group has been listed in leading sustainability indexes for many years. Since 24 September 2012, TUI AG has, for instance, again been the industry leader in the Travel & Tourism Sector of the Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes (DJSI) World and Europe. At the annual review of the composition of the index, TUI AG received particularly high scores in the categories of climate change strategy, risk and crisis management, and stakeholder dialogue.
