Thai Union Group Public Company Limited announced the appointment of appointed Mr. Thiraphong Chansiri, President & CEO to be the "Chairman of the Board". Appointed Mr. Kirati Assakul, an independent director to be the "Vice Chairman of the Board" and "Lead Independent Director" to balance the power between the board and the management according to the principles of good corporate governance. Appointed Mr. Nakorn Niruttinanon as the Director to replace Mr. Chuan Tangchansiri, resigned director. Assigned the Nomination, Remuneration and Corporate Governance Committee to seek for an appropriate candidate to be nominated as Director to replace Mr. Kraisorn Chansiri
and present to the Board for further approval and inform to the Stock Exchange of Thailand accordingly, at the board meeting held on May 9, 2022.

The principal activities of the Company and its Thai subsidiaries are the manufacture and sale of frozen, chilled and canned seafood. The Companyâs segment includes ambient seafood, frozen and chilled seafood and related businesses, pet food, and value-added and other businesses. Its subsidiaries in the United States distribute pet food, lobster, and other seafood products and import shrimp and other frozen seafood products for sale to restaurant chains, retailers and wholesalers. Its subsidiaries in Europe manufacture and distribute ambient and chilled seafood products to countries in Europe, the United States and Australia under their trademarks. Its subsidiaries in Asia manufacture and distribute seafood in Vietnam and China. The Company has 17 branches in Bangkok and Samutsakorn.
