In principle, this presentation concerns changes from the same period in the previous fiscal year on a consolidated basis.
New orders increased due to new orders for large-scale projects in civil engineering and building construction.
Net sales increased due to the steady progress of rich backlog in building construction.
All profit levels decreased mainly due to drop of profit ratio in building construction.
The rate of progress toward the full-year forecast is generally in line with forecast but remains lower than in previous years.

New orders increased by 161.3 billion yen YoY to 1,190.1 billion yen.
【Civil engineering】
Non-consolidatedincreased by 62.8 billion yen due to new orders for large-scale projects in domestic and overseas.
The subsidiaries decreased by 3.0 billion yen due to a decrease in new orders in a road paving subsidiary, but overall consolidated new orders increased by 59.8 billion yen.
【Building construction】
Non-consolidatedincreased by 66.6 billion yen due to some new orders for large- scale projects mainly from domestic manufacturing industry.
The subsidiaries increased by 14.8 billion yen due to an increase in new orders in facility construction subsidiary. Overall consolidated new orders increased by 81.4 billion yen.
【Real estate development (and other)】
Non-consolidateddecreased by 2.9 billion yen due to the influence of the sales of large-scale building in the previous fiscal year.
The subsidiaries increased by 23.0 billion yen due to an increase in the number of sales of condominiums and leasing real estate in a real estate subsidiary. Overall consolidated new orders increased by 20.1 billion yen.
