Sunny Friend Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 801.24 million compared to TWD 943.25 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 42.06 million compared to TWD 195.99 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.38 compared to TWD 1.76 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.38 compared to TWD 1.75 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was TWD 1,630.2 million compared to TWD 1,961.05 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 175.92 million compared to TWD 498 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.58 compared to TWD 4.47 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.57 compared to TWD 4.45 a year ago.
Sunny Friend Environmental Technology Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the removal and disposal of biomedical waste and hazardous waste. The Company is mainly engaged in the removal and disposal of waste through incineration, materialization, solidification and burial. The Company is also involved in the incineration of general business waste, garbage, grease and sludge, as well as the design, planning and construction of small incinerators, incineration plants and landfills. The Company operates its businesses in domestic market.
