Steelcast Limited reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended September 30, 2022. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was INR 1,211.68 million compared to INR 774.08 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 1,217.96 million compared to INR 775.22 million a year ago. Net income was INR 175.61 million compared to INR 98.11 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 8.68 compared to INR 4.85 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 8.68 compared to INR 4.85 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was INR 2,367.89 million compared to INR 1,300 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 2,377.2 million compared to INR 1,301.32 million a year ago. Net income was INR 316.99 million compared to INR 151.04 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 15.66 compared to INR 7.46 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 15.66 compared to INR 7.46 a year ago.
Steelcast Limited is an India-based manufacturer of steel and alloy steel castings. The Company specializes in the manufacture of products for mission-critical applications. It is engaged in catering to a host of original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) for industry sectors, such as earth moving, mining and mineral processing, railway, steel plants, cement, energy, valves and pumps, electro locomotive, aerobridge, oil exploration, shipping, and general engineering.
