Seria Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the year ended March 31, 2020. For the year, the company reported net sales of JPY 181,476 million against JPY 170,482 million a year ago. Operating profit was JPY 17,604 million against JPY 16,790 million a year ago. Profit was JPY 12,070 million against JPY 11,517 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was JPY 159.15 against JPY 151.86 a year ago.
The company provided earnings guidance for the six months ending September 2020 and year ending March 2021. For the six months ending September 2020, the company expects net sales of JPY 90,000 million, operating profit of JPY 7,200 million and profit of JPY 4,850 million or JPY 63.95 per basic share.
For the year ending March 2021, the company expects net sales of JPY 188,000 million, operating profit of JPY 16,500 million and profit of JPY 11,300 million or JPY 148.99 per basic share.
