The Logistics Park forms an integral part of DP World London Gateway, comprising one of the world's fastest growing container ports, an intermodal rail terminal and the opportunity for up to 9 million sq ft of industrial and logistics space, located only 25 miles from Central London.

The development has seen an increase in occupier activity recently and is already home to the likes of UPS, CMA CGM Group, SH Pratt Group's new venture Halo, Lidl and Dixons Carphone Group. A number of new deals will be announced shortly.

Furthermore, in February, DP World London Gateway will begin work on the speculative development of a 231,000 sq ft (21,452 m²) unit to be ready for occupation in Q4 2019.

Oliver Treneman Logistics Park Development Director at DP World London Gateway, comments: 'As DP World London Gateway enters a new phase of activity, we want to build on our 'open for business' approach and the appointment of Savills as our advisor reflects its credentials, market knowledge and reputation to help meet our objectives.

'We will be working closely with the team to foster collaborative relationships with occupiers and the agency community to provide prospective customers with a more detailed understanding of the opportunities which exist at DP World London Gateway and the long-term value to logistics operations establishing in this unique location.'

Richard Sullivan, national head of industrial and logistics at Savills, adds: 'Our appointment at DP World London Gateway Logistics Park is a significant and exciting instruction for Savills. We will be working closely with the client to improve end users' understanding of the scale, deliverability and flexibility the Logistics Park has to offer and to build on the momentum already established by bringing new occupiers to the scheme.'
