Riber's share price continued to rise on the Paris Bourse on Tuesday, as the manufacturer of equipment for the semiconductor industry won an order in the USA.

At around 11:30 a.m., the share price was up 1.8%, bringing its year-to-date gains to over 49%.

The molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) specialist announced this morning that it had received an order for a research system from EPIR, a company specializing in the design of advanced semiconductors.

This is the second order placed by the Illinois-based company, which is looking to strengthen its advanced materials development and production capabilities.

The first MBE 32 MCT system was delivered just two months ago.

Its 'HgCdTe' (mercury cadmium telluride - MCT) components are mainly used in high-performance infrared detection and imaging devices, notably in the defense sector.

This order is due for delivery in 2025.
