PT Martina Berto Tbk reported consolidated earnings results for the year ended December 31, 2011. For the year, the company reported net sales of IDR 648,375,230,795 against IDR 566,186,416,236 for the same period a year ago. Income before income tax was IDR 54,406,395,474 against IDR 48,619,570,431 for the same period a year ago. Net income for the year was IDR 42,659,406,355 against IDR 36,764,116,491 for the same period a year ago. Net income attributable to owners of the parent company was IDR 42,659,142,766 against IDR 36,763,913,041 for the same period a year ago. Basic and diluted earnings per share were IDR 40.35 compared to 51.41 a year ago. Net cash flows provided by operating activities were IDR 20,619,824,390 compared to 9,371,439,826 a year ago. Purchases of property, plant and equipment were IDR 22,506,975,733 compared to 14,334,189,625 a year ago.
PT Martina Berto Tbk is an Indonesia-based company, which is engaged in manufacturing and trading of traditional herbal (jamu) and cosmetic products. The products of the Company are marketed in domestic and international markets. The Company operates through three segments: Cosmetics, Herbal, and Others. The Companyâs subsidiaries are PT Cedefindo, and PT Tara Parama Semesta. The Company and its subsidiaries own production facilities, which are grouped into four categories, such as liquid cosmetics, including face cleansing liquids, moisturizers, toners, foundation, body splash cologne, hair spray and others; dry cosmetics, including eye shadow, blush-on, loose and compact powder, and others; semi slid cosmetics, including lipstick, creamy foundation and others; and herbal, including traditional face masker, body scrubs and herbal tea.
