Protektor SA, formerly Lubelskie Zaklady Przemyslu Skorzanego Protektor SA, is a Poland-based producer of leather military, professional, as well as working and protective footwear. Its products range includes military, firemen, as well as safety and work footwear. Additionally, the Company’s portfolio includes footwear for hunters and motorcyclists. The Company operate four footwear production plants, based in Poland, the Czech Republic and Moldova. The Company has a distribution network throughout Poland. The Company sells its products in Europe, Asia, Africa and South America. As of December 31, 2011, the Company operated six subsidiaries, including Abeba Spezialschuh-Ausstatter GmbH, Inform Brill GmbH and Praos pluas as, among others. As of May 15, 2012, the Company sold its subsidiary Prabos plus as.
