LAS VEGAS, Jan. 7, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- CES -- Having attended CES for the past several years and witnessed first-hand the angst and frustration of attendees unable to maintain their phone's battery power throughout the show, Duracell Powermat will demonstrate how easy can it be to charge your phone wirelessly in public places.

Duracell Powermat will outfit the Starbucks store inside The North Hall of The LVCC with wireless charging so that attendees are no longer caught powerless. Duracell Powermat and Starbucks have been installing wireless charging in select Starbucks stores in Boston and San Jose as part of a pilot program.

"Every year we showcase our new line of products and even more sophisticated iterations of wireless charging technology," said Ran Poliakine, CEO, Powermat Technologies. "This year we want to give people the opportunity to benefit from our charging technology so that they can experience for themselves the power that comes with our products."

Duracell Powermat will install charging stations at the LVCC Starbucks store and will provide wireless charging receivers to those attendees who wish to charge up their phones.

"It's truly a win-win situation for us and the thousands of attendees who will be at CES," said Mr. Poliakine. "Everyone loves Starbucks coffee and everyone loves having their phones powered up!"
