PriceSmart, Inc. reported earnings results for the first quarter ended November 30, 2021. For the first quarter, the company reported sales was USD 10.53 million compared to USD 10.88 million a year ago. Revenue was USD 975.36 million compared to USD 877.43 million a year ago.
Net income was USD 30.51 million compared to USD 27.74 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.98 compared to USD 0.9 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.98 compared to USD 0.9 a year ago.

It offers merchandise and services in various categories, such as consumables, fresh foods, hardlines, food service and bakery, and health services. It also owns Member's Selection private label products. The Company's consumable products include groceries, cleaning supplies, and health and beauty aids. Its fresh food products include meat, produce, deli, seafood and poultry. The Company's hardline products include electronics, automotive, hardware, sporting goods, and seasonal products. Its softline products include clothing, domestics and home furnishing products. Its health services include optical, audiology and pharmacy.
