Netflix is giving a glimpse of the new show Mask Girl.

The streaming service shared a trailer for the South Korean dark thriller series Wednesday featuring Go Hyun-jung and Nana.

Mask Girl follows Kim Mo-mi (Go), an unhappy office worker who is insecure about her looks. The character becomes a masked Internet personality at night and eventually gets plastic surgery to change her face.

The trailer opens with Kim (Go) in prison and reflecting on her "sinful life" and crimes. Later scenes show that Kim became a killer who took three lives, with Nana playing the character after plastic surgery.

"From my ecstasy, to their contempt and then, our destruction," a tagline reads.

Ahn Jae-hong and Yeom Hye-ran also star.

Mask Girl is created by Kim Yong-hoon and premieres Aug. 18 on Netflix.

The series is part of Netflix's Korean film and TV slate for 2023, which includes 34 titles.
