Daimler AG signed a memorandum of cooperation with IKCO. The memorandum of cooperation has been signed to produce three diesel truck engines in Iran, following the recent withdrawal of sanctions. The cooperation memorandum will see Daimler collaborate with Iranian Diesel Engine Manufacturing and Iran Khodro Diesel, to produce the engines in Tabriz.
The engines to be manufactured in Tabriz will be the 400 series diesel and also CNG 900 variants.
