The Dos Cielos restaurant at the Hotel, run by the Torres brothers, has won an award for best creative cuisine 2011 at the fourth edition of the awards organised by the Spanish newspaper ABC and the Salsa de Chiles blog run by Carlos Maribona, one of Spain's most popular blogs for food, wine and restaurants.

The restaurant run by brothers Javier and Sergio Torres is located on the 24th floor of the ME Barcelona Hotel and offers a fusion of innovative ideas and the latest trends in haute cuisine together with the freshest and highest quality ingredients. As a reward for quality, in addition to this Best Creative Cuisine 2011 award, the Dos Cielos has also earned its first Michelin Star and the award for Best Restaurant of the Year 2010 from the Catalan Academy of Gastronomy.
