On January 28, 2017, David A. Kirkland, chief information officer (CIO) of MCBC Holdings, Inc, was involved in an automobile accident. The incident resulted in three fatalities and Mr. Kirkland is the subject of related criminal charges. Pending the result of legal proceedings, Mr. Kirkland has been placed on administrative leave by the Company. In Mr. Kirkland's absence, Richie Brashears, the director of the company's information technology (IT) function will temporarily report to Tim Oxley, chief financial officer.
