Manho Rope & Wire Co., Ltd. (KOSE:A001080) announces a share repurchase program. Under the program, the company will repurchase up to KRW 3,600 million worth of its shares, pursuant to a contract with Korea Investment & Securities Co., Ltd. The purpose of the program is stability of stock price and raising of shareholder value. The program will expire on November 18, 2023. As of November 15, 2018, the company had 1,051,782 shares in treasury within scope available for dividend and had no shares in treasury under other capacities.
MANHO ROPE & WIRE CO. is a Korea-based company engaged in the manufacture of ropes. The Companyâs products include fiber ropes, wire ropes, stainless wires, stainless cables, hard drawn steel wires, piano wires, pre-stressed concrete (PC) wires, PC strands, elevator ropes, galvanized steel wires for aluminum stranded conductors steel reinforced (ACSR) and others, which are used in shipbuilding, mining, elevator, spring manufacturing, bridge construction and other industries. The Company distributes its products within domestic market and to overseas markets.
