Mainstreet Bancshares, Inc. Announces Management Changes

MainStreet Bancshares, Inc. announced the promotion of Abdul Hersiburane, Executive Vice President and Director of Business Banking, to the role of President. Mr. Hersiburane replaces Charles (Chris) Brockett, who remains actively engaged at the parent company as a director and President. Effective as of July 15, 2020, Mr. Brockett resigned as a member of the Board of Directors of MainStreet Bank (the “Bank”) and as President of the Bank. Mr. Brockett will continue to serve as a member of the Board of Directors of the Company with a term expiring in 2021. Also effective as of July 15, 2020, the Board of Directors of the Bank appointed Abdul Hersiburane to serve as President and a director of the Bank. Mr. Hersiburane was elected as a director to fill the vacancy resulting from Mr. Brockett’s resignation.

Franklin Bank is a nationally chartered commercial bank and member of the Federal Reserve whose deposits are insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). Franklin Bank accepts deposits from the general public and makes commercial, consumer, and real estate loans. The Company formed a wholly owned real estate company, MainStreet RealEstate, Inc., for the sole purpose of owning the real estate of the Company. It owns the facility in which Franklin Bank's Southlake branch operates.
