NEWARK/ZURICH (dpa-AFX) - An angry passenger on board a plane operated by Lufthansa subsidiary Swiss has caused the flight to be aborted. The pilot decided to return to Newark in the USA instead of flying to Zurich as planned, as the airline confirmed on Monday. The passenger became abusive towards crew members shortly after the Airbus aircraft took off, a Swiss spokeswoman said. One crew member was injured as a result. According to the information, the man was taken away by the police when the plane landed in Newark. The newspaper "Blick" first reported the incident online on Sunday evening (local time). There were more than 200 passengers on board flight LX19. They were rebooked onto later flights./oe/DP/he
