Kuzbasskaya Toplivnaya Company announced unaudited consolidated earnings and operating results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2017. For the quarter, the company reported revenue of RUB 6,511 million, operating loss of RUB 540 million, LBITDA of RUB 109 million and net loss of RUB 587 million compared to revenue of RUB 8,586 million, operating profit of RUB 623 million, EBITDA of RUB 1,027 million and net profit of RUB 613 million for the first quarter of 2017. Operating cash outflow was RUB 571 million against operating cash flow of RUB 1,149 million for the first quarter of 2017. Acquisition of property, plant and equipment was RUB 313 million against RUB 797 million for the first quarter of 2017.

For the six months, the company reported revenue of RUB 15,097 million, operating profit of RUB 83 million, EBITDA of RUB 918 million and net profit of RUB 26 million compared to revenue of RUB 11,093 million, operating loss of RUB 215 million, EBITDA of RUB 402 million and net loss of RUB 393 million for the same period a year ago. Net debt was RUB 6,475 million. Operating cash flow was RUB 578 million against operating cash flow of RUB 734 million a year ago. Acquisition of property, plant and equipment was RUB 1,110 million against RUB 1,006 million for the same period a year ago.

For the quarter, the company reported coal production of 2.72 million tonnes against 2.73 million tonnes a year ago. Commercial products production was 2.31 million tonnes against 2.35 million tonnes a year ago. Coal processing production was 2.03 million tonnes against 2.12 million tonnes a year ago. Blasted rock mass production was 9.25 million cbm against 7.46 million cbm a year ago.

For the six months, the company reported coal production of 6.04 million tonnes against 5.52 million tonnes a year ago. Commercial products production was 5.22 million tonnes against 4.77 million tonnes a year ago. Coal processing production was 4.47 million tonnes against 4.31 million tonnes a year ago. Blasted rock mass production was 17.85 million cbm against 15.85 million cbm a year ago.

The volume of coal production in the third quarter of 2017 will amount to 3.5 million tonnes.
