King Chou Marine Technology Co. Ltd. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2018. For the third quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 889.581 million compared to TWD 745.225 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 133.976 million compared to TWD 103.464 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 112.403 million compared to TWD 35.567 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 1.35 compared to TWD 0.43 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 1.34 compared to TWD 0.43 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was TWD 2,506.525 million compared to TWD 2,027.498 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 369.542 million compared to TWD 281.561 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 286.197 million compared to TWD 145.645 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 3.43 compared to TWD 1.74 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 3.41 compared to TWD 1.74 a year ago.
King Chou Marine Technology Co., Ltd. is principally engaged in the manufacture and sales of nets for marine and onshore use. The Companyâs principal products include fishing nets, aquaculture nets, camouflage nets for military industry, safety nets for construction works, sports nets for golf courses and baseball fields, as well as agricultural nets for cultivation activities. The Company mainly operates through five business segments: Taiwan King Chou, Kunshan King Chou, Kunshan King Da, Vietnam King Chou and the others. The Company is also involved in the trading of metal parts, raw yarns and fishing net machinery equipment. The Company mainly distributes its products in domestic market and to overseas markets, including Asia, America and Europe.
