Kang Yong Electric Public Company Limited is a Thailand-based company. The principal activities of the Company are manufacturing and distributing household electrical appliances under the Mitsubishi trademark. The Company is a manufacturer and distributor of Mitsubishi Electric home electrical appliances, such as refrigerators, electric fans, ventilating fans, water pumps under the license and production technology provided by its joint venture partner, Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, Japan. The Company operates through three segments: Sale of goods and rendering of services in Thailand, Sale of goods in Japan, and Sale of goods in other countries. The Company manufactures electrical home appliances both in domestic market and overseas. In the domestic market, the Company distributes its products through Mitsubishi Electric Kang Yong Wattana Co., Ltd., its sole distributor. It has market and sale distributors internationally in approximately 20 countries.
