VI Financial Investment Co., Ltd agreed to acquire JT Capital Co., Ltd. and JT Savings Bank Co., Ltd from J Trust Co., Ltd..

VI Financial Investment Co., Ltd agreed to acquire JT Capital Co., Ltd. and JT Savings Bank Co., Ltd from J Trust Co., Ltd. (TSE:8508) on April 5, 2021. Under the terms of transaction, VI Financial Investment Co., Ltd will acquire JT Capital Co., Ltd's 21. 6 million shares for approximately KRW 120 billion. JT Capital Co., Ltd. and JT Savings Bank Co., Ltd reported total assets of KRW 207.3 billion, total common equity of KRW 27.8 billion, EBIT of KRW 20.4 billion and net income of KRW 2.1 billion for the year December 31, 2020. JT Capital Co deal is expected to be completed by June 15, 2021. The transaction is expected to close at the end of August 2021. As of August 31, 2021, VI Financial Investment Co., Ltd completed the acquisition of JT Capital Co., Ltd. from J Trust Co., Ltd. J Trust Co., Ltd. transferred 21.6 million shares of JT Capital to VI Financial Investment Co., Ltd. for KRW 116.5 billion.
