International Business Machines Corporation reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2022. For the second quarter, the company reported revenue was USD 15,535 million compared to USD 14,218 million a year ago. Net income was USD 1,392 million compared to USD 1,325 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 1.62 compared to USD 0.91 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 1.61 compared to USD 0.9 a year ago. Basic earnings per share was USD 1.54 compared to USD 1.48 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was USD 1.53 compared to USD 1.47 a year ago.
For the six months, revenue was USD 29,732 million compared to USD 27,405 million a year ago. Net income was USD 2,125 million compared to USD 2,280 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 2.36 compared to USD 1.36 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 2.34 compared to USD 1.34 a year ago. Basic earnings per share was USD 2.36 compared to USD 2.55 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was USD 2.34 compared to USD 2.52 a year ago.
