Huons Global Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was KRW 1,589.54 million compared to KRW 1,069.97 million a year ago. Net income was KRW 7,870.76 million compared to KRW 2,461.28 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was KRW 1,870 compared to KRW 841 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was KRW 1,870 compared to KRW 841 a year ago. Basic earnings per share was KRW 1,870 compared to KRW 827 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was KRW 2,774.11 million compared to KRW 1,806.78 million a year ago. Net income was KRW 14,576.64 million compared to KRW 8,048.83 million a year ago. Huons Global Co., Ltd., formerly, Huons Co., Ltd. is Kore-based entity principally engaged in the manufacture and distribution of pharmaceutical products. Along with its subsidiaries, the Company operates its business through two segments: pharmaceutical segment and glass container segment. The pharmaceutical segment produces pharmaceutical products including parenteral injections such as lidocaines, merit C injections; tablets such as phentermines, diet pills and others; capsules such as Daisen and Fuxetine and other ethical and over-the-counter drugs.
